The Tigers wouldn't do this deal, plus why would the Cubs want Sizemore? They have so many MI prospects down in the minors..

I actually think it would be smart if the Cubs could try to get the Rays involved. Lilly is familiar with the division, and if the Cubs pay part of his salary, maybe the Rays are interested.

Lilly would have to skip any start at the little league field in NY. I can't see lilly in the AL East. If they did trade Lilly for Sizemore it would allow them to dump some of their INF prospects. Then in a few years someone (MIDINF) would have to probably be moved unless someone flops.

The Rays are the last team in the league that needs another SP.

tonights start better be Lilly's last as a Cub. Everyone is saying he will be traded, but this is getting crazy that he is not moved yet.

Looks like a Lilly for J.A. Happ swap rumor was swirling around. We already know Hendry is a moron, but if they offer that and he didn't take it Ricketts better fire his ass right then and there.

Good thing Lilly is not a 10/5 guy like Lee or he, too, might block any deal. My guess the last couple days has been Lilly to the Dodgers. Then again...

Partial NTC, yes. The Rays and Twins are examples on Lilly's no trade list. It sounds like if Lilly had the control, he wants to stay and would void any deal like Lee is doing.

i thought i read last night that the Phillies are also on his NTC after that Haap rumor came out.

If that is the case half the teams that are looking at him are out the window. Also wonder if the Twins were on there because of the Dome
