Default Elijah Dukes signs with Newark Bears
Former National Elijah Dukes has signed with the Newark Bears. Elijah has been out of baseball since he was released by the Nats on March 17th of this year. Dukes had been scheduled to have a tryout with the Tobasco Olmecas in a Mexican League, but failed to show up at his tryout. Dukes will join Carl Everett, Daryle Ward, and Brian Barton as former MLB players on the Bears' roster. Information from MLBtraderumors.com was used in this report.

Too bad I don't still live with my parents, the Somerset Patriots are in the Atlantic League too, and I could probably walk to the stadium if I had to. I wouldn't mind seeing some of those washed-up players again.
