Kevin Gregg (33) - $4.5MM club option for '11, $8.75MM for '11-'12
Trevor Hoffman (43) - mutual option worth $7-8.5MM; buyout at $500K-1MM
Chad Qualls (32)
Mariano Rivera (41)
Rafael Soriano (31)
Billy Wagner (39) - $6.5MM option vests with 50 games finished
Kerry Wood (34) - $11MM club option, vests with 55 games finished in 2010
Dotel isn't fit to be a closer. Francisco and Frasor are borderline. Fuentes and Gregg are B type closers. Hoffman has lost all his fillings and some rebuilding club might take a chance on a rebound season from Qualls and give him a 1 year 2 mil deal. We all know about Mariano and Rafael Soriano is the only A closer on this list other than Mo, and easily the best closer on the market (not counting Mo). Wagner is retiring and Wood would be a high risk decent reward pickup. So, I guess we can classify Jenks with Fuentes and Gregg. Closers aren't getting paid like they were 5 years ago so I can see Jenks not having a job until maybe mid February.
